I joined ACCCRTA upon my 2015 appointment. I’ve gained training, professional support, and continuing education allowing me to provide ongoing accuracy, transparency, and community-focused leadership to Cave Springs residents. ACCRTA’s culture of learning and service has spurred my commitment to excellence, resulting in several professional certifications, including that of Master Municipal Clerk. I was honored with the 2024 Clerk of the Year Award, and serve as this year’s Vice President.

Although I have served as Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Greenwood since 2012, I have been employed with the City for going on 28 years; since joining ACCRTA and becoming certified, my scope of knowledge, circle of peers, and overall confidence in this career has expanded exponentially. When not clerkin’ you’ll find me in photography, art, gardening, and hugging my grands.

I have served in local government for 45 years (10 years County, 10 years City Administration, 25 years City Clerk/Treasurer). I continue to learn and grow through education (NLR, AML, ACCRTA, IIMC, NLC and other organizations) as foundations to my success. A long-serving ACCRTA Officer, I offer my experience as a mentor and to uplift others in our profession. When not working, I enjoy time outdoors on our land and with our animals, gardening, and southern cooking.

As a past president and officer, I encourage every clerk to join our association and experience the training, collaboration, and statewide support that make our organization so essential. To unwind after work, I love spending time with my family and fur babies. I also really enjoy the great outdoors, a good book, live music, and theater.
