ACCRTA provides over $10,000 to members each year for scholarships to attend professional education opportunities. All members are eligible to receive scholarships, to support the costs of furthering their knowledge.
Scholarship Funding
Fund-raising activities occur throughout each year, under the leadership of the Fund-Raising Chair. Scholarship funds come from raffles, 50/50 drawings, ACCRTA merch sales, silent auctions, and similar activities.
District Workshops
Four workshops are held annually, one per district. Each workshop includes six hours of education on a Friday. An optional Thursday evening dinner and networking activity is also available.
Workshops are hosted one per district, and open to current CRTs from any district.
Three levels of workshop scholarships are available
- Friday-only (currently $50)
- Both Thursday and Friday (currently $75)
- Both Thursday and Friday with travel assistance. Available to anyone traveling over 100 miles to the workshop site. (currently $175)

Annual Institute & Advanced Academy
The annual Municipal Clerks Institute is held each September at Arkansas Municipal League facilities in North Little Rock.
Scholarships are available for each of the two groups of institute students.
- Certification Class: Four days of initial certification (CAMC and CMC) instruction. (8 offered)
- Advanced Academy: Two days of advanced certification (MAMC and MMC) instruction. (3 offered)
