2026 New Clerk Orientation

The annual New Clerk Orientation is a pre-conference session at the Arkansas Municipal League's Winter Conference.

It includes an introduction to municipal government, city clerk/recorder and treasurer duties, resources, and more.

Location: Little Rock - Marriott Hotel - Arkansas Ballroom

Time: 12:00 p.m. check-in | 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. session

Fees: $0

Registration: Open to all registered attendees of Winter Conference. No separate registration is needed.

NOTE: Conference check-in is NOT open before this session. There will be time to check-in before the 3:30 p.m. opening conference session.

Each year our association holds informative and instructional District Workshops including presentations by special speakers.

Member participation in these seminars qualify for Certified Municipal Clerks continuing education credits.

Our Workshops are an excellent opportunity for members to meet in an informal setting and exchange ideas!
